Why I hate insurance, reason #48: Spent 50 minutes on hold with Kaiser today trying to get something fixed for a client. The message changed to “our office hours are 8am – noon, and 1pm to 5pm. Please call back during office hours.” Click. It was 12 noon straight up. Apparently all brokers on hold get disconnected so they can go on lunch break. Aaargh! 50 friggin’ minutes!

Called back this afternoon and waited on hold 1 hour 40 minutes. Got the problem fixed (so now my client’s application will actually process). Time on phone this morning: 50 minutes. This afternoon: 1 hour 47 minutes. ugh!
